The Association of Marriage and Family Ministries (AMFM) exists to lead a marriage and family ministry
movement in the local church. We achieve this by encouraging, equipping, resourcing and training those
called to this vital area of ministry.
The AMFM Ambassador Program exists to enhance the mission and expansion of AMFM and its purpose.
It is couple-led, volunteer-based and designed to empower marriage and family champions to live out their
calling and passion wherever it may be. This ambassadorship comes in different shapes and sizes, and time commitments, but all is done with the same goal in mind, that of serving the
church and other organizations called to Marriage and Family Ministry. It is a goal
to eventually have Ambassador Couples in each of the major metropolitan markets
across the nation.

AMFM Ambassadors serve as local AMFM representatives within their specified
region. They serve local churches (pastors & lay leaders), Para-church organizations,
Christian schools, Bible colleges and seminaries, Christian counselors and
therapists, Christian business owners, relevant media contacts, social service
organizations and all others with a passion for marriages and families.
Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serving their home church and pastoral staff with a priority in marriage and family ministry
- Building relationships with churches and other relevant organizations within their communities to bridge relationships among all those called to marriage and family ministry
- Casting a vision for marriage and family ministry in churches and community organizations
