Steve & Shay Freeman

Steve & Shay Freeman live in Little Rock, Arkansas. They have three grown children and three grandchildren. Steve is an Industrial Engineer who has had careers in commercial real estate and technology sales to the financial services industry. He worked for IBM, Alltel Information Services, and Acxiom Corp. Shay has a Masters in Counseling and owned a ladies clothing store for 25 years. She is now a Master Bridal Consultant with the Association of Bridal Consultants.

They were founding members of Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock, where they give lay leadership to the marriage ministry. Last April the Freemans became full-time Marriage Ambassadors with the Association of Marriage and Family Ministries in Scottsdale, Arizona.


Paul & Linda Geyer
Phoenix, Arizona

Paul and Linda Geyer are lay leaders of the Christ Centered Couples & Marriage Ministry at their home church, Community Church of Joy in Glendale, Arizona. Prior to moving to Arizona, they pioneered a mentoring program for newlyweds, at their former church, Faith Lutheran Church in Troy, Michigan.

Their passion for marriage ministry stems from their own life and marriage experience of being married 18 years, divorced 16 months, and remarried since Dec. 31, 1997. They give God the glory of how He has blessed them and moves through them, and use their story of marriage reconciliation from weakness to strength in God and their renewed relationship.

As Ambassadors for AMFM, the Geyer’s are excited to be instrumental in the marriage movement that will enrich couples to build joy filled marriages resulting in joy filled families. Reaching out to and in their community and beyond, Paul and Linda are committed to help serve the body of Christ to expand God’s kingdom.


Ken & Irma Morris
Westminster, California

Ken and Irma Morris were married in 1991 they experienced many problems from the start and faced the choice of either living with each other in misery or getting help. Prior to marriage they made a commitment to God and each other that divorce was not an option. This commitment was the key in saving their marriage.

Three years of counseling, and attending a FamilyLife Marriage Conference, they became facilitators for Family Life’s HomeBuilders small group studies, to help themselves and eventually became the HomeBuilders’ Directors for Southern California. In 2002 Ken and Irma were recognized by FamilyLife with the National HomeBuilders Leadership Award.

In 2004, Ken and Irma joined the Orange County Marriage Resource Center team on a full time basis to help bring awareness of healthy marriages to the community.Currently they serve as the marriage ministry team leaders at their church; belong to the Kiwanis Club of Westminster where Irma serves as secretary and Ken as a board member and are involved with several marriage-related organizations and projects.


Dick and Joni Boyle
Puyallup, Washington

Dick and Joni Boyle have known each other since the 8th grade and were married in 1986. They have three children and live in Puyallup, Washington.

Dick and Joni are actively involved as leaders in the marriage ministry at Calvary Community Church in Sumner, Washington. They teach marriage enrichment classes and have led a marriage ministry team in areas of marriage preparation, enrichment and marriage care. They began by leading small groups using “Homebuilders” materials in 2001.

In 2004, they became board members of “Life Connections”, a community non-profit organization made up of representatives of local churches with a mission to affect marriages and families in the Puyallup region.

They have been designated “Marriage Champions” for Dr. Gary and Barb Rosberg’s material and have shared their resources with other churches.

In October 2008, they were designated as AMFM Ambassadors for the Pacific Northwest region.



Scott and Nancy Young
Charlotte, North Carolina

Scott and Nancy Young met in High School and they have been together ever since then! They were married in 1978 after attending Purdue University, in Indiana. Then they packed their bags and headed south to Charlotte, North Carolina where they raised their two boys. Their oldest son is married and serves on the mission field in Jerusalem. Their younger son is in college and desires to make documentaries to serve the Lord. He is spending his summer in Peru, Africa and Israel.

They have enjoyed a blessed and joyful marriage that they would like to pass on to others. Scott is a full time Family and Cosmetic Dentist, Nancy is a homemaker and community volunteer.

They desire to serve the Lord through Marriage Ministry and they have been able to do that through their home church since 2000 as Pre-Marital Marriage Mentors. Today they are the lead couple for Pre-Marriage Ministry, and they continue to mentor and train other couples. Scott is an Elder, and Nancy is a Shepherdess in their church.
